A truly ridiculous "business" model

I don't know if anyone has ever come across PTC or "Bux" sites while cruising around the internet, but I am very well acquainted with them. They are ridiculous. Plain and simple. Most of the sites pay you $0.01 to view 30 second ads. There are usually 4-10 ads per day. So, technically, you can only make $0.04-$0.10 per day... But then there is referrals. These sites are "paid to click" sites, but really, they should be "paid to buy referrals". 99% of the advertising is not "real", meaning it is not paid advertising, but rather admin's self promoting. Most Bux sites have 50%-100% referral earnings... so if one of your referrals clicks and ad, you make $0.01. The sites offer purchase of "referrals" (which are often bots) at very low prices. Many sites also offer the ability to rent referrals for 1 month at a time... The reason this business is flawed, is that they sell referrals for less than they have to pay out, and without ad revenue, they cannot profit. These sites survive purely because people continue to buy premium memberships and purchase referrals, in the hopes to make a quick buck. 99% of these sites turn out to be scams, and close up shop, usually within 1-2 months of opening. Hundreds of people loose money, while the ones who got in early and actually got paid MIGHT profit. And the very next day, another bux site opens up, and people are eager to join and invest in the site... and the process repeats itself.

The purpose of this post is to open your eyes to these borderline scams.
Does anyone have experience with these sites?

I joined a few PTC sites around 4-5 years back, just to give it a try. Soon I knew that most of the PTC sites were scam. I saw many PTC sites come and go. Some of them become very popular but soon close down.

Another kind of scams which became popular were HYIP programs where people invested money to get instant huge returns and pyramid referal schemes where you buy a product and then refer other people to buy them and inturn get a commission.

Most of the people lost the money except the people who owned these scam sites.

If it sounds too good to be true it is.

Yes, this even applies online where money flows from fountains and beautiful women suck your toes. Don't fall for any hype, especially when it's focused on stealing advertisers dollars.

Those sites are bull, even if they had unlimited Ads for you to view constantly every 30 seconds 1 Cent ($0.01) it would be only $1.20/hour.

I noticed though these sites are popular in Asia like China, becuase I bought an Ad once on adbux.org and all the traffic from like Hong Kong and Indonesia. Apparently to them 0.01 is alot.

Thats why I said Bux sites are all about referrals.
Plus, apparently you do not know about PTR... There is literally links to click, that pay you $0.00001.... Yes, 1/100th of 1 cent... And people actually click them. It is completely ridiculous...

There are lot more of ridiculous biz such as auto surf and survey etc.
They only paid a few of their member and then they setup a multiple ID at forum to promote their auto surf.
And for me bux kind of site is not worth joining not because of scam.
But it due to wasting time and effort.

Bux sites are scams yes, but survey sites are not. At least most of them are not.
Survey sites are legitimate, and I have been paid by all that I have joined.

PTC's are worthless. Your time is better spent on creating and writing blogs rather than waste your time clicking which takes too long to pay you, if they payout at all.
