WTF is up with Alexa Traffic report????

Anybody notice that Alexa has been going spazzy lately?

I know some of you will want to respond with = "I dont bother with that its useless"
but ..gosh dang have you seen it lately? lol

 

Yeah there are some bugs I can see

One of my site till yesterday have 308k alexa and today "No data" :d and yesterday traffic is 89K

3 mos. Avg. -- and there are page views for 3 mos. Avg. 6.6.

Alexa bar show different rank and when you go to details there are different ranks.

 

I agree, when I was using IBP to optimize my pages, my site rank showed as 8 lakh something, on alexa it shows as 19 lakh. Two days back it was showing as 9 lakhs there.

 

There is definitely a problem with alex it has been doing some strange things.

 

glad it's not just me. pretty much overnight my site dropped from a ~2 million 3-month ranking to ~17million.

Well, there's a better tool to track your traffic. It's www.quantcast.com. It not only gives more indepth traffic information but also demographics of your visitors as well. Isn't this great?
