hi, I launched a new website I one week I got 1 x pr 5 and 1 x pr 6 backlinks from related websites Is that good enough or should I add more? I want to rich 1st page of google from 2,100,000 results (yes that's only 2 million). Is that enough? How much it takes for google to index those backlinks? Cheers
Oh, it looks like you have no experience what so ever on SEO mate. Obviously 2 links won't that much difference on the search engines, specially just 2 of them. You should go ahead and pay a link builder to get you going with about 150 - 200 links, just to start.
I would say no but it would all depend on many other factors how competative the keyphrase is what your onsite seo and navigation is like. I would keep building links in this fashion and make sure your onsite seo is up to scratch and make sure you have good relevent content
I am saying that because I heard that having quality backlinks is much more better than having hundreds of shitty backlinks
What you need to do is a tool that gives all of your meta information and site keywords and gives you a percentage, Try to write title, keywords, and dofollow targeted toward at least a 70%score. Then start building your backlinks and over time you should start seeing good results.
Ok, I got it, need to build more and more quality backlinks, that would cost a fortune but it might deserve when I'll see good results, that will make me happy, cheers
Yes, continue to build backlinks. I have about 12,000 backlinks to my site, and I continue to build links regularly. And yes, the PR5 and PR6 backlinks you got from related sites will be very helpful.
150,000 backlinks doesnt even guarantee High PR High PR doesnt always guarantee High SERPS - but they more than often in the past went together. High PR is a vanity thing ..every SEO wants a solid green bar..and the green bar thats mostly white with a fraction of PR 1 poking out ..makes SEOs say = "ha ha!" and snub their noses. my bad, just kiddin
All SE's may count backlinks, but I have web sites ranking all over the first page results for Google, Yahoo!, and MSN with VERY LITTLE backlinks. Google even shows one of our sites having only 2 backlinks, and still we are in the top of the results. I don't bother with backlinks much at all, and we are in a very competitive market; literally millions of results for some of our keywords. And yet, we are still on the first page. On-site optimization needs to be in place, and then begin your backlinks campaign...if you even need one.
You need to have your On-Page SEO solid before your worry about Backlinks. But you will need to get ~50 links per month from now on. It doesn't end. But... If you have pages that get traffic, then you will need less. As for keyword density, get close to the competiton and don't worry about it. Just don't go overboard.
Link building should be an ongoing process you should never stop building backlinks. You should do some research about seo to gain some knowledge in this field.
Perhaps one easy way to find out how many backlinks your No.1 competitor has to his site is this. Type "link:www.your_competitor's_site.com" in Google. Then you'll see. But this is only for estimation. You got to take factors like relevancy, link popularity, the age of your domain, etc. into consideration as well, not just a number of backlinks. Regards, Joseph
