Buying Links- Pitfalls and questions

Hi Guys,

I should have asked this before asking to buy links in the Marketplace, but how can i tell that the people contacting me are actually the website owners?

Anyone can look at who.is info and claim it is theirs. Is it customary to have the link added first, and then payment given?

Some people contacting me are just asking for the money straight up with no certain proof that they are the owners or will carry out their end of the bargain and they are asking for hundreds of dollars.

Any advice for me when buying links?

Yep. Once its live make payment.

 

I just look at their history and reputation. Chances are they are not going to ruin their reputation that they built up over time on one deal.

 

If the person has been around on the forum for a while I have never had any reason to worry. Then again, I haven't been buying links for a while.

yes, let the person place link.. if his itrader is good, no problem in paying before also.

check date of registration of member, itraders, reputation, no of post, almost all aspect before u trade.
Also accept deals from verified paypal users.
