How would you define an Affiliate?

I'm new to this affiliate marketing & I still don't figure out this affiliate marketing. Can anybody help me in this?

Affiliate is a Revolutionary agent in a Affiliater industry if u can say he is the wheel of the wagon its also true.He is a plot of the play and pilot of the jet plan.

It works the same as any other commercial referral scheme. For example, if you was to refer your friend to your local bank, then your bank would give you a gift for doing so.

With affiliate marketing instead of referring your friend, you refer online surfers to a selection of different product/service offerings. In return you are rewarded with commissions.

 

you as an affiliate are essentially the middleman between the customer and the site you are promoting...therefore you take a commission for sales made
