    Hi,
I've built a new site based on Boonex's Dolphin software.
I have spent days modding and customizing it and it's far from being perfect but finally working.
I know the FAQ is still missing but I would like to ask you to visit it, register and take a look at it.

Please tell me what you think of it and what you would think would be usefull to add to it?

    The site is: http://www.my-arena.com/

Well - I kind of know that :)
Still - Trying to join the hype and maybe create a niche customed space like for SEOs or something else.

    Any ideas?

very nice site indeed. So whom are you targeting with this site? darker background would be much nicer though :)

Thanks Poseidon! I also added to your reputation as your feedback is valuable.

I've changed the background color to blue - can you take a look and tell me what's your opinion? Should I perhaprse try another color?

As for the niche - not sure yet - any ideas/suggestions?

Damn, I didn't now this software was free, I always thought it costed money, so I was using phpizabi (not too good). Well I like your site a lot. I don't like the picture of the guy in the pijama, not only does it look a bit childish, but it looks 'clip art-ish', I hope you know what I mean by that.

Its a nice design, also the logo looks really weird lol. Only thing i dont like is the 2 banners at the bottom below the footer ruins the look.

Thanks - good feedback (reputation added as promised).

I'll change the logo as it is indeed clip-art based. I'll think of something else to use there.

BTW - I have a dating site based on PHPizabi and I think that PHPizabi is much better for dating then Dolphin.

    Any other advice?

I agree with this person. Too many of your graphics look "clip artish". Fix that, make the colors "cooler" and you'll probably have something IMHO.

Then market it based upon the features myspace *doesn't* have. Lots of people are sick of myspace.

Ok , I'll give you the specific breakdown.

    1. The "My Arena" site looks like the comic font but bloated, try using a different font with bolder colors. I'm seeing a lot of pastel colors.

    2. Change the title to "My Arena - Free Social Networking" or something, either way , IMHO put the name of the page first, not the description.

    3. The graphic of the people around the flower should be changed, or at least made so it doesn't look stretched/skewed.

    4. Give Hot or Not it's on button to the side. People eat this stuff up but for your site it's at the end, most people may never read that far. make it stand out.

    5. Put the "top member" box on the side so it can be seen w/o scrolling down. people love this kind of recognition but buy making it so u can only see it if u scoll down you kinda undermine this. maybe make it so it just has the pic, age and location, not that other info.

    6. i like the profile lay out. it's clean, simple, to the point.

just my opinion. but ya, find a new color scheme. something less pastel and more bold.

Why is your site a myspace clone? I didn't see how it was related to myspace. Looks like you have a ton of stuff on it though. I like the name & I like what you are trying to do with the logo, looks old school :) Maybe could make it a little better quality though... don't want it to be too old school! :)

    Hi,
Yeh - I finally gave up on the idea and switched it into an online Arcade :)

I do appreciate your feedback though - thanks!

Well the colours on the arcade don't mix and the banner is too wacky.
