Backlinks As Seen By Google

My organic Google traffic recently dropped drastically. I'm trying to understand why different tools list backlinks differently.

The site has up to 200 backlinks but according to this query Google only sees 4!

This tool correctly shows 184.

Why is Google not recognizing all of them?

Google will never show you exact backlinks. So use yahoo to check exact backlinks.

a trick by google to get more people use webmaster tool i guess but they are not showing al the links for some time now.
