Forum signature advertising

For me, the best method to advertise your site is through forum signature. Free and most effective.. It is considered nearly as organic because you are not forcing people to click and visit your ads... They are visiting your links at will.

For 2 weeks, I did never tried any other advertising method than forum posting and my site which is 2 weeks old now increases it's alexa rank today at 400K from last 2 weeks 7million... forums can change your sites direction if you know how to do it.

Yep, forum linking via sig files using anchor text can really benefit you in the SEs if done consistently.

 

I want also to clarify that forum posting is totally different from guest book spamming... manny people thik they the will benefit from spamming on guest books..

 

I agree with you 100% I build links through article marketing and through my
signature link here at dp most of my links are signature links and my traffic
has been improving.

 

Without writing a single article for article directories, I got 3k links pointing to my blog in just 10 days.. that's the power of forum posting and blog commenting..

 

I have been trying this method out as well. It seems to have worked for some of my pages already!

 

lol about 2 mins ago i put my first forum sig link on. i hope it work im sure if you posted on many differnt sites you could get a nice stream of traffic comming in.

 

Question- Are the benefits to a forum signature two fold?
1. Back link picked up by the search engines.
and,
2. Traffic from forum viewers

Yeah, it definitely works. Post in forums that target your product/service and forums that are active and have the most members. Contribute and don't contaminate the forum. Become a leader and people will follow. Some forum threads rank higher than videos, articles, etc.
