    Maybe you shouldn't even include the date. I don't know the SEO stance on having dates in it, but the URLs are more cleaner if it's just site.com/category/post-name/ or just site.com/post-name/.

    I agree with pandemix. And as teamplayer06 says it's good for SEO purposes so You can use Your keywords as titles!

    Everyone is right on! Include the headline of the blog in the url, AND make sure your headline has the keywords of your blog.
