You did not increase the bid by the minimum $5, so I assume I am still the high bid.

Son will have to decide if he is sticking to his posted $5 increment requirement.

    Site is sold.
browntwn, you're right, but I couldn't reject his bid for $1. We both know he meant to outbid you. I sent you a pm about this and have offered a solution.

    1. And just as easily he would understand that I won fair and square according to the rules and should not have been upset.

    2. I bid according to your rules.

    3. Your offer to make me a site for $50 is hardly a solution, since you made that offer to me before and it has nothing to do with this auction.

You won't get neg rep from me. I will say that my plan (that we have discussed via PM) to have you make me 5+ sites is over. For 4 dollars you went back on your own word. That is a pretty low sum to trade for your reputation.

If you remembered our deal then why would you bid over $50 on this auction? I could've easily set them up for you for $50 each because I wouldn't have to buy the domains myself.

He paid AFTER you offered $65. I stuck with him anyway because I didn't want to screw the guy over for $1.

Like I said, it's not like it wasn't obvious that he meant to outbid you. I could've easily asked him for one more $1 in his paypal payment to answer your point, but I'm not that kind of a person.

As for my reputation, despite that you didn't give me bad rep, you said it anyway. Nice cheap shot! But, I don't really care because for those that have delt with me, knows me. I help from beginning to end and none of my buyers have been disappointed one way or another.

I'm sorry that you missed out. It's not big deal that you missed out on this one because you already know that I could set up others. I don't know why you decided to make a big deal of this.

Anyway, it's ok that you don't want to follow up with the 5+ site offer. Good luck with your sites.

Because I wanted the domain duffblog.com, versus my other sites where I already own the domain and you would merely do a set-up for $50.

LOL. Cheap shot. I bid, won and you sold to someone else. Then you left the impression that you made good via PM. That was why you got the reply from me.

Good luck with your sites and sales. I wish you nothing but success. I am particular in that I hold others to what they say and do so myself. To each their own.

If you were in his position, you wouldn't want to get screwed over like that. And like I mentioned above, we already had a deal for other site set ups. That's why I leaned toward his side. I believed his $60 bid was an honest mistake so I went through with the sale.

It was my mistake for not letting you know that I have other good domain names and I admit that I didn't stick to my word, but I couldn't do that to him either. I will have a good answer for you if you're willing to deal with me. I'm sorry for how this turned out, PMing you now...

I was interested in this site too, but whether it was a mistake or not, technically browntwn is the winner. I wish ebay allowed me to win something when I did a mistake and bid a few cents less. I wish that ebay seller was like you. :)

Anyways, I have done business with browntwn, and he is good and very easy to deal with. He was technically correct here. Just my 2c.

He is correct; I have apologized to him and I don't doubt him as a buyer. I've also offered a pretty good compensation for his lost (the second time around) - equivalent to the value of the domain name that he wanted.

I did not handled his situation well, but I still don't think that I was wrong.

I appreciate your comments and your PM.

Your offer of a free domain is not needed, but appreciated. I don't look to take advantage of people and you owe me nothing. I know you were in a tough position. We can move on and possibly do business in the furture.
