not sure what changes you can make with blogspot however if you really want to make your blog shine, I would suggest buying your own Domain Name and Hosting your site using wordpress. Not only would this be better for your "brand" it would also allow you to customize your layout better and add additional advertising for all that content you have. Also I would suggest keeping your content to a minimum on the 1st page, right now it looks like an endless page ... try to have only 6 - 8 posts per page that way it helps with page views and your page wont seem like a endless scroll to find a particular post!

 

Nice layout .. I feel if you add some widget or slide show for the pictures it will add more value and if possible try to have video section
