I just had an e-mail like this as well. I checked my account (through my bookmarked Yahoo small business URL) and yep - it's true. For me the new amount doesn't go through till oct. 2009, but still. So I guess I have to find out how to transfer the domain.
the news is true..and I too would suggest you to transfer out your domains as soon as possible..and all the registrars are cheaper than this..so you should not have any issues..
