I want to about the strategies to implement the website for backlinks.
How can be get more relevant backlinks for our website?

 

start posting on other forums and blogs. Put your link in ur sig and make enough post to get it around. Also start exchanging links with related websites

my main preference is using good old excel, and contacting each webmaster for a backlink. Of course I have software that i made that puts the results into excel. Also you need a program to make sure that they are linking back.

I like dofollow blog commenting as well as forum marketing - both are fairly easy and free ways to get backlinks for your site, though they do require a bit of time.

 

I have gained most of my backlinks from forums and article submission.

The best, free and easy way is to do forum posting and this gives another benifit to increase the SEO knowledge

 

Best backlink strategy is to write articles that attract backlinks. Here is a hint: Go to Mashable.com. You will see many "100+ This This Products" or "55 Favourite Dash Dash". Those articles really attract links. Even I apply this strategy on all of my sites and I do well.

 

Article submission and putting your link in the resource box, forum posting and putting your link in the signature , link exchange programs, helps increase your backlinks for free! All these techniques require your time though.

 

You can submit your site to relevant directories. I've had good success with this method.

 

Basically we have 2 strategies that dovetail somewhat, as the link building takes some time to increase traffic, so we also look at immediate traffic type strategies

1) Link building
Social bookmarking is wonderful not only for high PR backlinks, but also to get your site indexed quickly.
Posting on do-follow blogs also works well in this regard.
We have also had some success with directory submissions, but this is a backstop measure
2) Traffic
Basically the traffic aspect is really to get the site some immediate visitors, and for this we would normally use Yahoo answers, specific to the niche targetted (cant always be done), but answer users are more than happy to click through links, and when tracking the actual conversions, we have found most come from related yahoo answer links. Forum posts (some give backlink as well) - but we use these mostly for traffic - also targeted to your niche of course. You wouldnt put a sig link to baby goods within digitalpoint for that matter

Article submission services are also fairly effective at getting backlinks - but the quality is somewhat debatable. I would stick with the more reputable article sub services.

is social bookmarking that good then? I have not used any nor have I any accounts set up... are you able to use your own anchor text when using these?

 

While its a cheap dirty frowned upon way to get backlinks, check what the majority of results for your keywords are, and see if they still do reciprocal link building. If they do, its a really brainless easy way to build some quick links, and while their value is about as low as you go, if your competition is all relying on that technique, if you do it and some good SEO you can rise fairly quickly.

Especially if you then delete/nofollow all of your link pages once your PR is up. But you wouldn't do that, that's mean. Right?

The main strategies I use are blog commenting and forum signatures.

Remember you want to find blogs and forums relevant to your niche and contribute. Make sure beforehand that they're

1- reasonable in PR
2- has decent traffic
3- are dofollow

It's important not to spam, but instead provide value to others and really participate. That way you're not only getting the benefit of backlinks, you can also brand yourself, add credibility to your name and get direct traffic from these places.

 

Link building is the main way to get your website ranked, use article marketing, blog commenting , forum posting etc...

 

Yes, incoming links is what builds rank. Links on websites in the same niche that are considered higher authority will give you better link juice.

 

I generally get inspired about 1 linking strategy a day or however often and then focus on doing that thoroughly. So one day ill social bookmark, next day comment on .edu blogs, Regular blogs, forums, etc just incorporate as many strategies as possible for success.

How long have you been using this strategy and what are the results you are seeing? I'm very skeptical about the effectiveness of this strategy in term of SEO.
