    Don't try and cheat Akismet and don't spam people's blogs :mad:

    If you want honest and genuine backlinks then post honest and genuine comments on blogs, otherwise don't bother!

    Why do you try to spam others' blogs when you can drive hundreds of natural backlinks doing it the smart way. You will find many link building articles on Google. Or just check my signature.

    Or, don't spam. Comment, manually and meaningfully on related blogs/sites.

    I love Akismet - because it kicks out the spammers.

    Lets hope you never work around it... and that it keeps learning. Although for a while there posting in Russian was quite effective.

    if you are trying to cheat akismet, then you are trying to spam other people's blogs which is not a good thing to do. run a legit site and make useful comments, you will get approved and wont have to worry about akismet. we are all site owners here and none of us like our blogs being spammed

    I'm banned by akismet.

    I think its a bit unfair because i make worthwhile comments just like the rest of us, but because someone has marked it as spam, i now cant leave my website in any comments.

    why do spammers bother anyway - it's such a waste of time. They just get deleted. There are better ways to get legit links.

    Yeah just please don't spam it does no one any good. Akismet will block your domain and even if you decide to do legit business later on you will still be blocked by everyone. Just do it the way everyone else does and spend a little extra time. Spamming does nothing for you in the long-run.
