There is a program out now that lets you make phone calls with the itouch via wifi but the first poster is correct, one is a phone the other isn't so there is really no comparison.
Nice one acting like a big man on the internet squert. There are things that make the ipod touch better to other people than the iphone because of the shape and the internet speed, get a life "retard" And now there is a device which allows you to phone people up on the touch, idiot.
For me, i would rather go with the iPhone. My priority is communication. So it would be more convenient to me if I have a phone. Music and movies are my second priorities, and I can enjoy them using my iPhone. That's all for me!!

Thats an old review, there is a newer version of the ipod touch now which looks a lot better, has a built in speaker and is faster than the iphone 3g.
TBH iPhone vs Ipod Touch. 1 is a phone and other's a Music Player I won't compare both of them, instead....... I'd better buy a stone instead of an iPhone here's why!
That is a bit harsh. Don't answer if you're just going to say that. To OP, it's depend on what you're going to use if for. If you want a communication + entertainment device, go for an iPhone. well, you don't have to be so mean as to call somebody retard, that's very harsh. anyway, i don't want a touchscreen for a phone because it is hard to type using keyboard when making SMS messages. I do have an ipod touch and i really enjoy using it, well, except when typing on its screen keyboard.
I would go for a iphone bc you can even make calls using it ( I bet some of you did not know ) but cou can'T using an Ipod-touch but beside that they got nearly the same features so no need to get an iPod tough if you can also get an Iphone
I have both I bought my iPod on November 10th '07, that time there was no iPhone in India. And when the iPhone came i bought it as i needed a new phone..... Cheers!
