No problems here for me (v3.0.4). Which version are you running? Have you tried a reinstall, or perhaps removing extensions you might have added? It could be an extension or something external from the browser affecting it, do you regularly scan for malware/adware/viruses?

Could you be a little more specific with the details?

Yes. Mine crashes a lot too. Especially when I am downloading something. I'm running 3.0.4. What add-ons do you have?

I've seen sometimes AV software makes the program not respond for 15-20 seconds, but it always comes back. I've never experienced this on my PC, but on some of my friends. Try disabling your on-access scanning, and see if it still crashes as often (do be careful where you browse though! ;))

It freezes. And then all of the browsers close. The Crash Reporter pops up and asks you if you want to Quit or Restart Firefox. When you restart, it asks you if you want to restore previous session or start over from scratch. I always restore, and then it brings everything back right where I left off.

I've had problems with mine too- quite a bit over the last couple of weeks.

Clean installs do not seem to do the trick, and I've been forced to use Opera more than I normally do.

I also encounter this and I thought my computer is the problem. I'm using Firefox 3.0.4

I have to refresh the page for a couple of times.

I am still using ver.2.00 since I had heard a lot of such crash problems with ver.3 when it was launched.

Since a long time has passed since its launch, I was thinking of upgrading...but hey, this post has held me right in my tracks.
Are people still facing such problems or are these one off cases?

    Regards,

    RightMan

When I upgraded to the lastest version I had nothing but trouble so went back to explorer. I've heard they have since ironed out the issues but I haven't tried again...
Maybe go back to older version and wait until things are fixed?
