I need help with a Wordpress Theme

The problem I'm having is with this theme:

I can't figure out which file to edit to get rid of the Ad Space graphic, etc on the right sidebar.

Please don't tell me you know if you're not sure. I've looked thru all the files and I can't find it myself. It's not just sidebar.php or right-sidebar.php, as you might assume. You'll need to give me the filename and show me the code section that needs edited.

Well the url that you provided to download the theme had a corrupted version of that theme that wasnt working for me, but i have found this versioninstead and its the same theme that you asked, but this one was working correctly

The problem is in your footer.php those "free" wordpress sites usually encode the entire php code of the footers of the themes and add links to unrelated sites and "copyrights", i hate this because most of them just stole this themes and they add those links to get profit.

Now your footer.php should look like this:

First, you might requested the designers who designed the theme. many of them will happy to help for free.

The link works good; it is not corrupted.

I also found that greatwordpressthemes.com site replaced the footer links. the legal action will be taken against them. If you are the owner of that site be ready to face it.

To OP: if the footer links are replaced you might be violating the copyrights. The theme comes with Creative Commons 3.0 sharealike license. You should not replace the footer links. So, make sure the footer links matches links with original demo site (http://test.qualitywordpress.com/?preview_theme=rainbowtrance). DO NOT USE ANY THEMES FROM greatwordpressthemes.com

They have replaced the autor info:

Most of those are free themes from wordpress.org and they just encrypt the footers to add aff links to 3rd party sites.

The theme URI you mentioned is same which i gave in my post so you need to Check the CSS file for this theme

if you can find this one in wordpress.org then show me the link. I know you cannot. wordpress.org doesn't allow anyone to upload themes which have sponsor links.

I sold it on DP. Chazzbro can back me up because I've designed hundreds of wordpress themes for reputable DP users.

The website is replacing MANY links from MANY other authors as well.


I guarantee that each theme I upload, the site will try to steal it. I can even provide the PSD of the original design and predict what will be posted on the site.

Please remove all themes stolen from qualitywordpress.com
