I run multiple small sites that get a small amounts of clicks per week, but they do get clicks. I get hundreds of impressions daily but i make anywhere from $.01 to $1.00 a week. As of now, i use google adsence, and i have read that adsence is not good for small websites. Is this true, and if so what ad company should i use. Not really, Adsense is still the best bet for good payout. I think what it means by "small website is not good for adsense" is that the paying rate is lower than established website with higher PR.
it basically just means what S11.explorer said. the less popular your site is, the less google is going to want to pay you for it. just do a lot of link building and SEO and get your pr up, and the clicks will be worth a bit more. get targeted traffic only to your site and play around with adsense placement. where you place your ads is a huge factor in how much you can earn.
Don't forget to incorporate some cool banners on your site with affiliate companies, those can pay you a lot more. For example, eBay new sign up pays you $10 per new sign up... Not bad, and depending on your niche, I bet you can get other relevant ads.
