    Hi,

Does anyone know where I can get some basic affiliate terms and conditions text for my new affiliate program. I would imagine that there is somewhere I could get this information but I seem to be having a hard time finding it.

    Thanks in advanced!

Most big affiliate programs have a "pitch page" where they give the highlights of their program and include terms and conditions. Google brand plus affiliate program.

An alternative is to join the top affiliate networks and you can find that information under the various programs.

if you are actually serious about it, higher a lawyer. I have done in the past for things similiar, its not to pricey. Of course, this is going on the assumption you are serious about it and everything.

Oh right I know what you are trying to do. I've actually done some research on this fairly recently.

Basically you can say whatever the hell you want in your terms and it is legally binding (Provided your terms don't violate and existing law). If one of your terms is illegal, then that term becomes void, but not the rest.

As someone said earlier, other networks terms do not have copyright protection. In fact if you read the terms of a few different networks out there, you will find that they are identical!

You do not need a lawyer. The only thing you would need a lawyer for is if you are concerned that your terms are not going to be enforceable (against the law) or if you have a lot of money riding on the fact that your terms need to be followed.

    Hope this helps!
