One of my client sites has suffered some kind of ban on Google- the site is still in the index, but has no SERPS in Google. I was buying sitewide link for them but have now dropped it, and at the same time was building "natural" link popularity. Therefore there are many legitimate links to this site. There is nothing "black hat" about the site. in the past we were buying sitewide links, but as I said, we stopped that. What is strange is that the search: allinanchor:injuryadvice4u shows 581 results and all of them are supplemental, including link from yahoo directory. the site's url: www.injuryadvice4u.co.uk Do you think is it worth working on this site or is it better just to buy used domain (my colleague has suggested it) and start again? is there any hope left?!
It does not appear that your site has been banned. Check using site:www.injuryadvice4u.co.uk. -Ramprof
If your site is still in Google's index, it isn't banned, by definition. http://www.google.com/search?source...06-21,GGLJ:en&q=site:www.injuryadvice4u.co.uk
I noticed that the non-www version of your domain gives a 503 server header... you should redirect it to the www version. Google may be following a non-www link. Basically, I think that it could be a part of the new cannonicalization rules that is causing your problems.
