At the moment my PayPal account is unverified. I would like to use the $25 or so on the account though. Can I just add my card and then remove it to get verified and keep that verified status? (I don't want PayPal to have constant access to my bank account)
No, you must leave some verification on file. Unless you are planning on running a scam, you should no problems with Paypal being hooked to your account. I have been using them since they first started and I have never had one problem with my Bank account or credit card.
No scams here, I just don't make enough money to cover extra costs if something were to go wrong. That, and I've heard stories about PayPal withdrawing funds from your bank account without your knowledge
Like I said, I have not had any problems and I have used it for eBay, selling advertising, selling websites, and selling memberships. It is more about who you deal with not Paypal. The other thing is, you can not withdraw money if you have no place for them to send it. If you are really want to do honest business on the Internet, you really need to be linked and be verified.
