I like Chrome, but why do we need another browser? If you develop websites now you need to check that it looks correct in Chrome, IE, Firefox as well as each version. It's a pain.

I like FF more. Chrome is such a Google-I-want-to-control-the-internet thing

It is generally agree that Google Chrome is not a complete browser yet, Firefox is still better than Chrome.

Chrome is much faster than FF. With extensions, it would be the number 1 browser

With extensions it won't be as fast, the main reason it's fast is because it does very little besides render webpages.

I have FireFox running much faster than Chrome, i've got a RAMDisk setup and FireFox stores it's cache in RAM instead of on the HD. The read/write speed to RAM is about 250 times faster than HD.

When i switch to Chrome the slowness is quite noticeable.

Well at least with the add-ons, it will attract new users. I wouldn't be bothered so much about trying yet, just wait and see until it develops further.

Good first steps. I hope they add an extension that disables AdSense ads. Would help me a lot to play around with my websites :)
