@ Hanxiansheng: How may pages per site you have, they are big websites, how many articles per website? How much traffic brings google?? Is google your main source of traffic and if so do you work all the time on SEO to keep those rankings?

No one has to quote URLs. He could easily take a screenshot of his Adsense numbers, covering what's needed to comply with TOS.

It's hard to believe these numbers, without proof. Someone earlier in the thread pasted a few past quotes that looked a little questionable.

I absolutely believe in top (Adsense) earners such as Jim Karter, because you can actually see the great quantity of work that he has online and you can follow this up in his blog, from one day to the next.

man I need some serious help

my site gets about 100 visitors daily... i have had adsense for like a year now and I'm sitting on like 60$ - which is ridiculous in my opinion!!

Can anyone help me, what am I doing wrong?

I display two Adsense Banners, and within content I have a "ads by Google" which blends in niceley with the background... but my Adsense sucess is soo poor!!

Anyone? Please help... I thougth I would leave it to see if it improves but it hasn't.

1) Your site now has few visitors.
2) Your post is too short. 150+ words per post is ideal. So you can contain enough keywords and so search engines will easily rank your post, then you will get more traffic.
3) You can try to put the Adsense Block in the main content, other than in sidebars, so you may boost your CTR.
4) You content should focus on your keywords so you will get higher CPM. And your single click revenue will greatly increase. Don't use too many keywords in one site.
5) By the way, if you are serious about your online business, you'd better get your own domain and paid webhosting, Free stuff like Blogger.com is not so ideal for business.

 

1) If your adsense CTR is higher than 2%, nothing is wrong with your Adsense placement.
2) 100 visitors per day is too low! You should drive more than 1000 unique visitors per day if you want to make serious money.
3) When you have low traffic, you can try Affiliate programs, they can earn you more money than Adsense.
4) No secrets on SEO! The secret is long time hard work.

Wow that is truly impressive. My users NEVER click on my ads. I don't understand why, but they don't. I'm running the site for fun rather than money so it doesn't matter that much anyway.

What niches are your sites in? My site is a soccer site so each click generates only a few cents, unfortunately.
