My new forum style, teen money making forum!

I think the color combination are harmony and eye-catching . You've done a good job .

 

Great design and colors... I like it... Maybe what I dont like is green thtop rows....

 

Well i used the colour green to represent money, however the very top line iwll be moved down when i get a banner.

 

My forum is just taking off now for the last 6 days i've had members register i now have 50 members nad clsoe to 400 posts! Please tell me what you think and how i can improve it please.

Thanks so much eventhough i know it's a great idea it is always uplifting to hear someone else say it, i am working on a header but am undecided on what to have as i will get members from all countries so it'd be hard to get currency signs on there but then i can't think of anything else to represent money.

Any ideas?

Thanks green, i'm making the banner now, so far i have the name written in green and orange but don't know what else to fill it with

I've broke it again puttin the banner on, i can't get rid of the blue bars now and it's squahsed up to the side, anyone know what to do?

 

I like your design, however the forum looks empty you should work a little harder to get more members and posts, you can buy some ads on relevant forums/sites/blogs

 

Well i am adding more posts and it has only been running a month which is nearly 2 members a day so i don't think it's too bad.

 

wow very cool forum, but what about if you change the header, the header tittle is different to the name of your forum, (youSite com change to TeensTalkMoney)

 

Well yoursite.com was the header that came with the style i've changed it now, it's not great but at least it's there. Any members would be greatly appreciated, it's aimed at teens but anyone is welcome to join.

Yes but as it's a community i have given the members a chance to make it and have credit given for it, as it is a forum for them so why shouldn't they be involved in the making of it.

 

Orange and green combo seems flashy to me. If you like this combo go ahead with it. If you have an intention that you need to change it then do so. A light approach would look fine.

 

i wanted it to look simple but not boring as it's for teens.

 

lol give the guy a break! i think about 5 people mentioned something partially negative about this banner...i think he gets the point, hey PM me when your free - i like your site so much, i'm willing to throw you a free header

I think after reading all the advice here, not one person has told you a decent thing to do to your site! Firstly your domain is excellent, and you have vB, both are positives. On the other hand, the colours clash, and the icons to show new posts look like party balloons?! If you really want to succeed then get a really nice design that tells everyone what your site is about, First impressions DO count!

Also design a logo which really stands out, and is unique, people should be able to tell what company a logo belongs to!

I also dislike the balloons, they are actually bubbles btu i am only a beginner at photoshop and to get something recogniseable so small i am struggling.
