Hi everybody... I am looking for a stats counter that will tell me the day and the time of day that the most traffic visits my site. I am looking for it to be a free service as well. I have tried both hitslog and google/analytics. Personally I prefer Google. But neither one of them does what I need. Google gives the best information out of any stats software that I have used yet, but I really need to know the peak days and the peak hours of those days. Does anyone know any service like the one I am talking about here? Thank you
You can use http://www.statcounter.com It's free for up to 100 entries, they give details of time and length of each visit
I think AW Stats does what you want but I have never used it. Other than that StatCounter is a good site but you have to pay once you have recieved over 500 visitors to see more detailed stats.
I checked them both out and I think I like the AW stats better...Its not as pretty as Google, but it does have the info that I wanted and since it is open source, its FREE.... Thanks guys

You can go for statcounter. There are some other sites too. http://extremetracking.com is one of them.
you cannot go past Google analytics .. it's free, its SO advanced and everyone has it .. default standard ..
Yeah I agree..Google is most likely the best free stats counter out there....I have been using on all of my sites for quite some time now. Just like general's fried chicken, its the bomb!

Most people here will recommend statcounter. It is a great bit of kit. To be fair though, if the websites are pulling in $$$ - it can sometimes be worth the extra bit of expense per month for a decent stats package.
