just go with a vps with any good company, shared will always creat prob for you and if you are looking for a very reliable shared host and dont search here at dp, you will hardly find 1,2 good host here, rest all kids running on fdc servers from home and they close there hosting company anytime

    micfo.com
    hostgator.com

If your site starts to get tons of traffic, sooner or later, all hosts will ask you to upgrade to VPS/dedicated server.

    Hi,
Too start use Hostgator.. find more here: www.hostgator.ws
Once your site gets big (but really big) than you better buy a dedi at hostgator (I own one too and I'm very happy with it)

There are cheap prices so.. I wouldn't try another :)

Well... do you think it's expensive?
You get unmetered for 5$ per month, and first month even free or for 0.01$
Check http://hostgator.ws/coupons/ for coupons if you think I'm lying ;)

So no they aren't high.. even yesterday with the 'black' thing, many users bought 3 year hosting for 75$ instead of 5 X 36 months...

Just forget the hosts which oversell if are looking for reliable hosting. We are in business since 2005 and can offer you rock quality hosting at affordable prices starting as low as $1.49 a month.

We have been hosting many DP members since 2007 here and all of them are happy with us and i am sure you too will be happy with us. Thanks.

I took advantage of a 3 year plan HG Baby plan yesterday for only $71 :) The $9.94 off and 20% coupons are still valid and the $50 HostGator rebate http://www.hostingplanrebates.com.

Hostgator and godaddy, they are throwing away lots of coupons, but none of them work.....every time i enter the coupon code discussed here on DP, it does't do anything and later it took us in such a situation where you have to pay whatever they are charging..

Well the coupons are mostly only 1st month.. not recurring...
But that's normal, you can give a 1 time 0.01$ price for hosting.. but if you do it lifetime, Hostgator will go down soon :D

Reliability doesn't come cheap...it costs money to purchase, maintain, and fix servers. Renting space at the dc and hiring staff also costs money. You want good, PAY FOR IT.
