Looking for constructive criticism

I am not a very good designer but unfortunately for me I love to play around with Photoshop and design websites. In my quest to get better I have decided to seek out a little constructive criticism. Here is a mockup of what I have so far:

The theme looks nice once you add some content and some graphics
everything should look great.

 

yeah the colors and the layout are good,

 

The round corner is soft and good design .
It looks like it is still under construction.

 

What kind of graphics should I add?

 

Andy I absolutely adore your RSS icon, so cute & fun.

Ok, one criticism though (hope it's constructive): your logo doesn't stand out because underneath you put the Menu in the same font & style, which makes the whole thing a bit cluttered.

But again I love your RSS icon. It's my favourite so far.

Your graphics are very nice.

Conventional wisdom says that white backgound/black text works better. Easier to read and focus.

 

Over all I like the theme but I think that there should be a footer at the bottom of the page.
