I don't know, maybe my shared hosting Bluehost is having trouble handling the traffic. I don't have much experience with this much traffic, do I maybe need to upgrade my hosting plans?
It's just a static page, no sql queries or major overhead... I wouldn't worry about it. Probably just a net traffic blip or (doubtfully) apache re-start. Just watch your BW in regards to your account limits.
I wouldn't worry about it bro. Most of these high gravity products are on $4.99/month hosting. You don't need to upgrade.
i think you should (to avoid any jip from N or gbatemp peeps) get rid of all but the PDF. you can just link out to the software on an unrelated site. It is free to distribute GPL software but to include it in a package even if you state that you are only purchasing the ebook and all the other stuff is included then you are just inviting trouble. get rid of that stuff and they have no legs to stand on.
I haven't had the time to get any serious work done today, I have some spare time now and I'm gonna revise the sales text. The reason why the package is put on my site , is because I wouldn't want to waste a extra couple of gigabytes each day out of someone's hosting. All The files in total are about 40-50 mb, each customers downloads them, multiply that with a lot of customers, that's a lot of bandwidth. The pdf is being rewritten as am I speaking, I've instructed the person who's doing, we're actually in a joint venture with this, to credit the original author of the files when mentioning them, and state that those files are under the GNU license.
There are some big updates, which would possibly solve all the problems and drama which have occured for this product, this updates will minimize or eliminate completely the pissed of gamers bashing this products, as well as any possible copyright issues. Things seem to get always delayed, but if everything goes as planned, the updates should be completed within the next 24 hours, and I'm going to give you a review copy when it will be finished.
Thank you and have you decided if you are going to continue to host the software on your server or point to theres?
Not only is it a scam, its illegal. It violates copyright laws, and not just from the wiibrew guys. It steals from Nintendo, and they have a huge team of lawyers. Anyone involved in selling this should quit immediately, it won't be around much longer in its current form. If it does change to just a guide, then nobody will buy it. Quit while you're ahead.

Ripped, could you please collect the best keywords and add them in the affiliate page to use them in our PPC campaigns.
Most products on Clickbank are re-compiled (some of them more legibly) from freely available info on the net. The "waterfuel" products were all re-written versions of the Hydrostar idea. ALL the download sites (Psp, Wii, Ps3) link to torrents, every single dieting e-book is re-written from stuff you can buy in bookstores or 15 issues of Cosmopolitan magazine, etc etc. I could go on and on. My point is made, as long as it`s on Clickbank (and it converts!) affiliates will promote it.
I will suggest you stop wasting your time, because this product stays, whether you want it, or not. If you look at the sales page you'll see that this product isn't advertised as a software no more. I don't state anywhere that HomebreWare is a software. It's not a scam, it works - Tried & Tested, and a lot of happy customers. It doesn't steal anything from Nintendo, I haven't stolen anything from Nintendo. And no, lawyers aren't gonna do anything. There won't be no lawyers, no FBI, no CIA, no ninjas storming through my door and throwing shurikens at me. You better stop watching movies and start living in reality. I'd suggest you to put effort in something useful in productive, because this product will stay, if not for anything else,I owe it to the affiliates who put a lot of effort into this product. Also, on the other hand, I'm working on the modifications that will finally calm things down, and the product has hit 20.66 gravity, meaning the gravity is still rising, which means you don't need to get discouraged by any negative comment.
So, your saying that your only selling the guide? Then why not in big Bold letters on the top of the page have a image that says "All we are selling is a PDF for $30+ (Even though everything in the pdf is copied from other guides)" Edit: You are making money from a pdf (supposedly)... now is that not sad. Noticed that this hasn't been posted yet: hackmii.com/2008/12/wii-homebrew-for-sale-copyright-whats-that/
Any issues concerning the PDF will be fixed in a few hours, I don't want to say how before it's done, wait for a few hours, and you'll see. I don't state that my product is a software on the website. Re-read the page you'll realize that.
Nevermind, Sk8erboy deleted his threat. Good thing for screen shots and contacting hosts! Hehe...what a dumbass. If that is true, I doubt you'd post that you are doing it on a public forum where YOUR IP is logged!
Not to mention, all the buzz you guys have created with these threads has sent sales through the roof. Apparantly all the controversy has caught people's interest and they don't mind spending $29 to make their own judgement.
