Adding money to Paypal without Credit Card - India

    Hi,

    I am Sarpras Navas, from Indian "small village". I want to add money to my PayPal account. I am not having any credit card. Please specify easy payment system for adding money to my PayPal account (from India).

    Paypal accepted demand draft or western union?

    You have only option to add funds to your indian paypal account is 'Credit Card' or else if someone send you money from his/her paypal account to your paypal account.

    Is it really possible to add funds from Indian Bank account to paypal :confused:

    As far as i know you can't upload funds from your Indian bank account. Let me know if i am wrong.

    I believe you can add funds to any paypal account from any country.

    There is no any option i can see in my indian paypal account from where i can upload funds to my paypal account using my indian bank :confused:

    For doing business with Paypal regularly, you will need to get your account verified...for which you would need a credit card anyway..

    Get one CC and have the account verified...and then even have the Paypal credited from your CC...

    The real question is Can the Op add money from his Bank Account to Paypal and the answer to this is NO because they are not permitted to transact in foreign currency.

    The only option with Indians to upload funds to Paypal is through Credit Cards only. So Sarpras Navas you can not add money to Paypal without Credit Card. Infact what you can do is ask some one of your friend to give you Paypal amount and you can send him INR.

    But this should be only your responsibility as Paypal does not permit this kind of transaction. So do take care

    How to easily get credit card? - Without income proof.

    I think some bank provide credit card for their fixed deposit, it's true?

    Check with HDFC and ICICI bank as they offer CC if you have FD's with them (not sure about amount).

    You can also apply for addon credit card if your parents or brother,sister having one CC with them.

    Check with Axis Bank , last time I checked with them they were giving CC if you get a FD with them but the amount was Rs 50 K so I think it would not be wise.

    For more information you need to visit your local bank as their policies differ from state to state .

    Few times back i heard that if you get a FD of 20-25K in ICICI bank then they offer you credit card. Not sure that still that offer exist. And now a days mostly all CC comes with free of cost (no annual fee) ;)

    As I mentioned, the banks in different cities or states have different policies.
    The ICICI Bank where I have bank Account does not provide CC on FD's.

    As far as HDFC Bank's credit card is considered I have faced no problems with them and I do not have ICICI Bank's credit card information.
