    Hi Friends.... :)

The safest religion according to me is being "religionless"

Just knowing that there is a divine power that moves everything on this universe, a power that is there in everything... in us! It is in everywhere we look into... it is abundantly in nature... that we truly belong to...

Give Gods any name and compartments, there is a God residing in you and me.... the everliving soul!

    What do ya say??

Every religion would feel it is filling the gap... but as a silent observer you will know that everything just falls under one power and unfortunately discrimination has been made by every sect which tries to reach and access the same power and truth but in their own way...

    Love :)

This all depends on how lazy you are. There are many religious doctrines in the world to suit many people who are blind to the truth. The safest religion is the one which God backs you. Can you safely say you have God's backing in what you do for him? I can say that because I heed and apply what I am taught from the Bible. Can you??

The safest? That would also be the one which is the most accurate. If christianity is true, not believing in it means you burn for all eternity. Not safe. The same goes for many other religions. However, if atheism is true, you can do what you want!

all religions suck, and for those christards saying "christianity is not a religion, its a connection with jesus"

jesus my ass, you damn facist people suck, we dont need you.

    islam sucks too.

If you have a brain, you dont need a religion.

the truth hurt doesn't it, if not get off the computer and start getting free money from heaven or either make some good excuses.

Christianity is not safe. Christians will be killed for their beliefs in many countries and soon the USA will find ways to make it illegal too. The ACLU has been working very hard at freeing us from the Christian beliefs that are so prominent in the USA today. Eventually we will all be free from Christians and will just have all those other religions around that don't bring harm ie: mormonism, jehovah witnessess, islam, buddism, neo-nazis, new age, pink triangles and the such (you know, all the good harmless religions of the world)

To some level I think religion keeps the general population from creating a moral stature that's incapable of standing on it's own (atleast in this paradigm). Quick example:

The core of christianity is family values or the unit of a family. Beyond morals, the family unit is an extremely viable economic format. The majority of povery in America is either due to 1)Low intelligience 2)Fatherless children....sometimes a combination.

Many liberal areas, especially the one I live in is very loose on the family unit as valueable...and thus many are susceptable to accept the possible challenges of being a single parent and not having a full family experience. Thus the state tries to make-up for that by making the man support his children, which he should do...although I must say alimony is silly.

Ultimately the lack of family values in America (which is usually permeated through religion) has led to a fatter, low-self esteem America. Of coarse many situation will vary, but the trends are fairly present.

I don't agree with most of the people here.

Relegion is very important because it teaches us how should we spend our lives. There is no religion which says that people should be killed and there is no religion that wants one nation to destroy another

These are people, who for benefit of their own does all this and blame relegions.

    Jeremiah 10:23 says it all:

"I well know, O Jehovah, that to earthling man his way does not belong. It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step."

In other words, people who think they can be there own authority in life will find out the truth soon enough.

You know, I walked around in the world for 35 years thinking exactly that. "I don't need anyone and I can sort out my own problems". I was wondering why I was having all these problems. It was only through an invitation to see what it says in the Bible that I finally had the question answered.

But there were so many more questions I got answered too!

All it takes is to ask.

Consider me biased but I think the safest would be Latter-day Saints... (some of you know it as Mormonism) - that's just IMO.

Who ever got anywhere by playing it "safe"? Don't be afraid to have beliefs.
