Checking your pages ranking

Anybody know how to check for where your page is ranked?

I had a highly ranking page 1 listing that was starting to make some money, but it was only listed for a few days and now it's gone, at least it's not in the first 10 pages now. I didn't do anything blackhat or illegal, but it was a new site (about 2 weeks). This happen to anybody?

    Thanks

You can monitor how your keywords and phrases rank with Ranktracker.

Sounds like you've been kicked in the sandbox. Two weeks sounds about right too...

No actually it happened several times with brand new sites with no backlinks or pagerank. The one in question was #1 for a few days and now it seems to have disappeared.

Hope you're right. Is there anything I can do or should I just wait?

    Thanks

Continue to work on your site and just wait. That's about the recipe for dealing with the sandbox.

You're welcome. Just to let you know, if you like Ranktracker, you will have to pay for the fully-fledged version for it to be a useful everyday tool - it costs $87 last time I looked, but it is a quality tool and you do get version updates AFAIK.

I used to use DP's Keyword Ranking Tool but we're not sure how accurate it is these days after appearing to be "broken" then showing results that seem to bounce all over the place, but that's irrelevant now as new Google APIs for it are unavailable and unsupported these days.

    Good luck :)

    :(

I guess it's just wait then. This was supposed to be set and forget, there's only 5 pages counting the privacy policy and links. If it was just a matter of it slipping down a few pages I might have tried building links, but if it's in the sandbox I may as well wait to see if it comes back before spending to much time on it or I might be just spinning my wheels for nothing.

    Thanks

Ive had sites disappear for a few days (totally unlisted) and then reappeared 2 days later back in the first spot.

When a site is sandboxed I dont believe it disappears completely, but just gets dumped down to page 300... if my understanding is correct anyway.
