Well I wont be using Adbtite ever again.
I started for the first time at the beginning of this year, things looked promising with good earings. So far they owe me almost $400...nice:D

    BUT

As yet I have no cheque!

    WHY

Well after numerous emails telling me what I already knew(the criterea for payment) which I have met, that...
So the publisher(me) is responsable for Adbrite collecting their funds from their advertisers..........That Sucks!

Surley they take money up front for advertising?
Plus if that is the case its not clear on their site either.

Adsense pay me without any problems...ever!

    oh Hum.........you live and learn!

Adsense is famous and really professional with their advertising. Can't believe adbrite does this. Thanks for sharing the info. I'll take note of it.

So what are they doing about it,surely they must collect the money and then pay you either by cheque or pay it into your bank account. Are you saying you have lost the money or what ????

As far as I can say, I NEVER had any problem with them although I also moved to Adsense due to less earning with adbrite but none problem like mentioned here occurred to me. I am just giving my views.

    Is this legal?
Surley my contract is with Adbrite, the fact that thy failed to get their payment is down to them, not me as I have zero control over that!?

The same with CJ.com .. Actually if you want to advertise your products, you need to pay upfront, however - most of companies ( advertisers ) are paying at the end of the month.
