NY Times reported that .tel top level domain will be on sale today. But I have not seen it available at Godaddy or Namecheap.

Anyone out there know where to buy one? I'm very interested. :D

You can get this at name.com and the cost of .tel is +$380 everywhere for 3 years in sunrise offer.

Also you can try out domainmonster.com, they are accepting the first registration for Sunrise Applications/pre-order.

Ouch.. It's 399.99 now. Look like I have to postpone my buying. Pretty sure
no one would grab those domains I have in mind.

BTW do you guys think it worth it? First choice always .com
but since I can't have the .com - .tel will do.

I've been very interested in tel domains since they were recently marketed. What's interesting though, is the lack of spark out there interest wise. Like mentioned here, I'm wondering if the price tag has a lot to do with it. Also, not having the support of the really big domain registrars seems to be hurting tel domains at this point.

Dont we have enough TLDs, I think these TLD registrars or whoever is getting greedy or desperate for money, either one.

Domainmonster.com accept General Availability Pre-Order where cost $19.90, currently they only accept Sunrise Applications/pre-order for trademark holder

in other words, all of the big corporations and people with "connections" will get all of the quality one-word domains before the public ever gets a chance.

Yep all the new tlds are RIGGED. .me was rigged before it even opened. By way of illustration, you can see this by visiting www.blow.me and you see this domain is holded by the .me register for "premium". Its RIGGED man. LoL
