Hello guys I have a adsense site making $100+/Mo form adsense, CPM, Adbrite... I want to sell it but im not sure about the price and how should I approach to possible buyers... any tips for me?

when I say approach I mean... I should start an auction? Set a Bin? what about the reserve how much should it be?

    thx guys!

traditionally you can sell a business for 10x the net profit.. but a lot of things come into play, like site quality, longevity etc. So I'd set the reserve on the site from $250 - $500 and see where it goes.

Yes its highly recomend that you start an auction at DP or sitepoint.
You can set the BIN if you want at 7x the monthly income.
And your starting bid is as low as $100.
IMO,now the max you can get for your site is about 5x of your monthly earning

some get greedy...so instead of seriously wanting to sell the site, they are hoping for some outrageous offer.

It depends on the reliability of the revenue stream along with whether with how much maintenance is needed to keep up the revenue.

Another question for you - what better use do you have with the money?
ie is it worth more to you to earn $100 / month
or get $600 or $700 as a lump sum .

    What is the opportunity cost?

If you're looking to sell, I would try to sell the website for 5x-8x of the current monthly revenue. Don't try to sell for too much or you will turn people off, but don't try and sell it too low or you'll get ripped off. Try for the 5-8x range.

BIN stands for Buy It Now which means if you buy it at BIN you are automatically the winner of the auction because it's the maximum offer the seller is looking for.

A very interesting topic, but 7x isn't a bit too low?
IMO 10x is better for small sites, but even so, in case you don't need the money on short term, it may be better to keep the $100/mo than to have the $1000 now. At least this is what I do with my sites, usually.
