    Hi Guys,

I have ran up a huge adwords bill and was wondering if anyone in here has also done the same. Is there anyway to still advertise using adwords without paying?

The only way I know of is if your a non profit you can take advantage of free PPC through Google Grants.

I would not recommend this course of action. If you continue to advertise without paying they can suspend your account and then you will really be in hot water.

Google will not let you slide. I know that if you use yahoo and you pause a ad they will still run some without charging you for it, but you never know how long, I just know I keep seeing them after I pause sometimes

If you owe them money and want to still advertise i think its sensible to clear your debt with them first.

I dont like owing money to people, and companies dont like people not paying and still expecting to do business. ;)

My card expired and I waited for 1,5 months before I entered new one, because I was on long holidays. At that moment Google already sent me notice about it and thretened with lawsuit.

Sure .... you were .... reminds me of a aboriginal joke ....

A Garbo man goes past a black fellows home & sees the black fellow with no BIN ....
"Aye mate" says the garbo .... "where's ya Bin"
the black fellow says "I bin on 'oliday mate"
"Noooo" says the Garbo .... "where's ya wheelie bin"
The black fellow says "I 'ave weally been on Holiday"
The garbo repeats "no, mate where's ya wheelie bin"
"OK mate" says the black fellow .... "I weally been in jail .... don't tell anyone, aye bro"

Somehow I doubt Google will just give up on being paid. Imagine how many scammers try to rip them off everyday. Seems like a really bad idea not to pay them.

depends on how much you owe them, they have 24/7 lawyers on duty, preparing to sue if the amount they see is befinificial. but if you are talking about $200, i think they will just ban you.

You should really pay your bill. They can sue you, and you'll have a stain in your credit report (if you're in the US at least).

The bill has to be paid one way or another. Pay to play and all that.

May be worth paying off my account then, as at some point I will probably want to do a front end campaign. Thanks for the tip.

    Are you serious?

If your customers decided not to pay you, how would you like it?

You received a product (traffic) so pay for it.
    Sheesh.

If the bill was really small they could forget it. but thats not the case
(especially) google has a lot of small bills.. so they will go after every one of them
you could still be advertising i thnk, but the bill would go higher and they will want you more and more to pay

Google lawyers aren't as "dangerous" as they sound. They came after me for not paying up $325 after changing all my banks, cards, home etc, I did recevie a notice and beat them in court, leaving them paying the fee's and since it was international, I received $500 for "Compensation" rofl - well worth it, $325 of free advertising plus $500 for using that $325

That doesn't make you a hero .... many web masters often wonder why Google charge an arm and a leg for ad's and only pay publishers 10-20 percent of the ad's original cost .... and you are the reason why (and other stooges like the OP) ....

So webmasters at DP - when you ask and question why your clicks are only worth pennies and cents .... refer back to these two idiots and you have your answer ....

You are paying (in more ways than one) .... for these idiots that rip off Google.

if you are using postpay then you should consider switching to prepay to keep yourself out the red, and they wont let you slide if its worth chasing as others have said remember your credit card has your details so you should try to pay sooner rather than later and think of the long term effects.
