What would happen if everyone reading this message put my signature in their signature for a day.

Ans: Yes, your site will definitely gets loads of traffic very fast. No doubt.

But the sad part is that no one is going to give you free link

I don't think you can get the significant amount of traffic coz the link is new and still not indexed by google.
And signature is not free,you need to buy it from other member

You need to work on your marketing. The basic steps... It's not good to try and skip parts of the process for now even though I think You idea was good. But that's a business in itself!
If You want my advise I would say You should do some article marketing. Do some PRs, I mean, if You don't have the money that's Ok, but You need to invest Your time instead. It's either one! Maybe You can work on SEO for SERPS...

 

But I was going to oneday make them a moderator possibly. Anyway

I took a quick look at Your forum. It has a good ranking for "google club". But You should also focus on other Keywords. The keyword "Google" will always be a tough battle for You. I think Maybe You should focus more on the other keywords You use like forum, googlesiteclub,jaiku,community,search engine , etc. Did You research those keywords? Does anyone look for "google club"? You really need to know this! I bet they look for adsense and adwords information so those might be good but think about this.

 

Also look at the number of views posts are getting:
"How my site traffic went from 37 monthly visits to 14,657 monthly unique visits"
it's a great example. This guy provided great content and sudenly he got lots of replies and a lot of people interested in reading what he had to say. Well, start an interesting thread at Your own forum. Provide the best content You can. Then You can come to THIS forum and say something like: Hey guys look at this great post (make sure You don't break any rule, ok?) and tell me what You think about it.
There was a guy here that made a post saying we could go to his forum and submit our websites to a special section he created for that. I don't know how that went but it seemed like a good idea! Maybe You can do the same. Go to blogs and share a great post from Your forum.

Why don;t you show some goodwill and grab a few random sig links and remove yours? practise what your asking type thing. that would go down well with the members, people might be more open to helping you then.
