I Did It!

Good evening. My name is NewToAllthis and I am an Adsense-oholic *applause*. Yesterday I did not look at my Adsense stats at all *applause*. Thank you! When I joined this DP community I had hit bottom. I was looking at my stats every hour on the hour. Gradually I decreased that frequency to 3-5 times a day with the encouragement of some you *applause*. I know that if I take one step at a time I will beat this addiction for good *sustained applause*.

Thanks. I did not look at my stats yesterday either. I'm going to go a couple more days cold turkey and then I will look at my stats.

Like someone else said, the stats aren't going to change the more you look at them. Google has smart-priced most of us so our earnings are fixed within a certain range and no more. Even if our traffic and ctr increases. It's a scam.

Haha! No, I got up from the computer and went outside for a breath of fresh air. But seriously, I'm trying to take my mind off Adsense and it's working. I no longer feel the urgency to log in.

It's always good to take a breather.

 

I was busy on the weekend, but I still have sometime check the stats because it just show me on Google Desktop when I started my laptop. LOL

I think it's ok to check everyday since we improving the website, placement, content and do SEO things.

I am about waiting too many days before add new contents no matter how much I want because my English still bad and that make me somewhat difficult to write one (and waiting proofreading also)

 

I just I am just an over-checker in general. When I was really big on selling on ebay, I would check my bids like every 1/2 hr. Now, that I don't sell on ebay as much I get my "checking needs" satisfied with adsense.

on a side note, I also check a pot of water like a hundred times to see if it is boiling yet. LOL!

I think I need help.

 

Google stats ? What are those ? (Quickly minimizes other screen).

 

i stopped logging into adsense when i realized i could make more money with it if i wrote new content in that time now checking it once in the morning and once in the evening.

 

It is nice to just check once a day and see that big jump. I try to only check in the morning but sometimes boredom gets the better of me.

As did I...I don't feel AS bad as I don't type my login information anymore, though I do feel a little guilty and I have found myself on occasion closing firefox and reopening it just so I can get my fix. I'm pathetic .

 

Oh man, I think you would excel as a nanny. Those babies need your constant scrutiny.

Now back to the program, everyone go check adsense...

All kidding aside, I let then run around crazy all day doing whatever they want as I sit at the computer continuously checking my adsense account. LOL!

 

I only log into my adsense account like once a week.
I like to see big numbers, not a bunch of little numbers.
