Multiselect box update help

    I have a cold fusion page that has a multiselect box that inserts into a SQL table. When the values are inserted they have a comma between each chosen.

    I have another page that allows people to update that information later with another multiselect box.

    Here is my problem. I can not find a way to break out the values inserted for the update. It puts them all in a list with the commas at the top of the multiselect instead of highlighting each individual one that was originally chosen.

    Any suggestions? I'm lost.
