Is it useful for ranking to submit to a mass of directories?

i have a list of directory websites, there's 2000+ websites in the list.

i use roboform to submit my sites to directories one by one, it's so waste of time.

does the work deserve to do or not?

 

Submit only to quality established directories. There's no point in submitting to directories which are not even indexed properly by search engines. When it comes to links, it's about quality and not quantity.

 

Most of the free directories are wack. If the page you'll be on is indexed in Google, submit. If not, skip.

 

Agree with mixke, its quality not quantity that will help your SE rankings most.

 

useless, in my opinion

 

2000+ directories is too much try submitting to 500 or 700 directories

Also out of that 2000 most of the directory owners do n' concentrate that much of free submissions..

 

There only few good directories out there, make sure you only submit to the good ones only, if you dont want to waste your time. Good luck

 

It's quite helpful, however directory owners will take time to approve your post and those links might not be that powerful... but it's a good start for your site and will last for long

But before I submit to a directories, how could I know if the link I submitted will be indexed in Google?

 

My point of view is

When u submit to 2000+ directories, then u can expect 300+ directories to approve your links

So, If I were u, I will do a slow submission to those 2000+ directories and wait for the results

 

Directories can be a waste of time, if you only have time to blog comment or use directories i would go for blog commenting every time.

 

i think if u submit at a time in 2000 + directories it could be like spam so its useless its my opinion

 

For me, it is not a waste of time! Directories are very helpful in building one way links for your site. It is also a good strategy for new establishes sites.

 

Submitting your site to a lot of directories used to work at some point but now backlinks from only quality directories will be beneficial.

 

Dir submission is some helpful to SERP's. you can submit pr dir then it is useful.

 

Care full to use toolls and But free directory is waste i submitted more than 50 free dir. Wate lots of time but no use non of them give BL to me. I waste lots of time. But if pyed 100% guarenty will get it and also many PR7 dir can get link for 10-50$

 

you can submit. But make sure that all those directories should hosted on different IPs & servers. If a set of directories created under same ip or server then probably google will find it and penalize those directories. so it's waste of time that submitting to these kind of directories

Only submit directory with high raking.

 

I think High page rank directory in submission for our site is most effective.
