Here is the concept of the website: Thebuttonad.com is a page that promotes businesses, organizations, and individuals by displaying buttons with chosen words that act as links to their websites. Thebuttonad.com came to me as an idea through which I hope to fulfill my American dream. I made this website to show my friends and relatives that accomplishing the American dream nowadays is still possible. I am an ambitious individual that studies full time and works, however I have bigger plans for my future. I want to start up my own business with the profits from thebuttonad.com . By advertising on this website you become a contributor to my dream and the American Dream. I am positive that the money you spend on this ad will become fruitful to you organization or company. haha you still here. This is my review on it. You (or your friend) website is basically a copy of the milliondollarehomepage. The page is run on pixel ad script which tons of websites have now adays. You website is jsut a custom version of that and the main problem with it is how expensive each button is. The pixel ads run about a dollar a pixel which normally adds up to anywhere from $10 to $100. To start you might want to lower the price of each. About advertising: PLace links in your sig on this forum and other forums. And then start posting. People will see it if you post it. Also set up some kind of deals and other types of offers to get people to come. You might also want to make you website a little better looking. just find the places to advertise to businesses because it is who you will be trying to get to pay for advertising on your site. You want to be dealing with business and website owners. So first find your target market then try direct advertising since articles will not help as much banners ads will help I think.
what if i start selling them on ebay?? start the bidding form $1 do you think that would be something cool?
Cant hurt the only way to know is to try it. I think you need to be more unique. Perhaps have jigsaw puzzle pieces you can sponsor or similar. The other thing is no PR and no alexa rank means it isnt really worth advertising on at this stage. You could run a contest where one of the buttons has a $100 reward or something but thats up to you. Good Luck
There are many way to increase PR such as submit your site to directory site,write article then submit it to ezine and don't forget about press release. For alexa ranking,you can do some link exchange with other site and thus it will slowly get more traffic then decrease your alexa number
