YPN & Adbrite?

    I run YPN on my site and want to add a 486x60 banner to bring in more revenue. I know YPN doesn't allow contextual ads, but would I be able to place an adbrite ad where people will just buy links?

    No, you are not allowed to have other contexually based ads when you are using YPN. You can just have YPN. Why the heck would you want to use adbrite? Adbrite is almost as bad as clicksor if your site is small.......;)

    question, why would you sell ads on your site and not even show them on your site? That would probably be breaking the TOS of adbrite if you sell ad space and dont give them what they bought......

    Im lost in what your saying :confused:

    YPN beats Adbrite, so I wouldnt even try to sell anything :)

    I asked yahoo, it is fine to use adbrite for selling links on your site!


    As long as you are not using there adbrites normal ads.

    It is permissible to use other forms of advertising. We ask that you do not use other contextual ads on the same URL simultaneously with Yahoo! ads.

    Adbrite for just selling links off your site is not contextual.

    Not sure about it: few days after i joined Ypn i got a message from them that having textual links (note: textual, not contextual) simultaneously with yahoo ads was not allowed.
    Selling banner ads space is fine.
