DomainLoco it appears you have a fundamental conflict. From the dDevelop.com site listed as your location, I quote; You are a hypocrite of the worst kind. Stop posing as a concerned blogger.
What are you talking about you fundamental moron, we develop domain names MANUALLY by using a minimum of 30 - 45 UNIQUE articles per domain, but I dont think you know what that means. Maybe if I said, I have someone with tremendous skill in the art of writing draft 30 to 45 unique articles that are relevant to the niche and ADD value to the reader? People like you make this world the place it is today, don't worry you will be out of business soon. You are the most childish person I have ever spoken to, especially when you come under criticism by the community. Why would you assume I am a "teenager" with no experience. lol I walk circles around you and your silly scam.
I have used WPdirect, but stopped due to cost. Yes, it worked for me and I did get a #1 ranking in google for particular key phrases, and get ranked in other key phrases. On the points that - you can do it yourself - I agree you can... but software generally can do it better. - WP direct encourages copying - well it does make getting RSS feed stuff easy, but it is not required that you do that...it is up to you how you use the software.
DomainLoco, Wow. I believe you really are loco, dude. I'll take a couple of minutes to respond to your sweeping over-generalizations and assumptions. But this is the last of my time I will waste on you. Talking to you is clearly like trying to talk to a know-it-all teenager. Here we go... 1. You accuse me of "ridiculously obvious advertising". If that were the case, I would have something to gain from mentioning the resource. That wasn't an affiliate link (I even clearly said that). I was simply trying to be helpful to beginners who might read this thread. On the other hand, in reading your posts you are obviously trying to discredit WPD in order to further your own "blogging service". If anyone is guilty of "ridiculously obvious advertising" it is surely YOU. Not me. 2. About my "ridiculous assumptions". First, they're not my assumptions. I prefaced quite clearly that I'm not a WP expert, although I know Michael to be. Also, I know Marty to be. Additionally, I have reviewed Marty's service and can say that it delivers exactly what he claims, and I believe it is perfect for beginners (the target market). One of the modules in their training teaches you how to create your own blog posts "for best results" and this is the recommended method. The content module is available, and is helpful to folks just starting out. 3. Everyone knows you must be vigilant. NO, they don't. Beginners certainly do not. That's a broad and sweeping assumption you're making and the only possible result is people getting hurt by your mis-information. Just like most of your other claims. Even if most people do know to be vigilant, beginners certainly wouldn't know where or how to be vigilant. And that's why Michael's information is a BIG step in the right direction for many in securing their WP Installs, ESPECIALLY if they've used Fantastico. Don't deny people the opportunity to get credible information just because you think you're above the issue. You clearly have a LOT to learn. 4. Don't be scared into buying a CHEAP product. Scared? Really? This is the best you can come up with? Careful, your true colors are starting to show... you are clearly a venomous and under-informed soul whose purpose here is obviously self-promotion. If you didn't have your own blogging service to promote, your arguments would be 100x more credible. 5. Who says wordpressdirect is not using fantastico? I don't recall anyone saying that. Another clear example of your over-generalizing and making assumptions instead of following the clearly written word. In fact, I simply stated that "my understanding is another advantage with WPDirect is that it does not leave these security risks open". Loco, clearly your emotionally-driven self-promotion is fogging your thoughts. Anyone reading this thread I would caution to be wary of your rhetoric, and to steer clear of this nutjob. To all reading this thread: Always do your own non-emotionally charged due diligence for best results. DomainLocos has his own agenda, and it's clearly to promote his own services, by scaring you with half-baked assumptions and rhetoric about WPD. I'm not telling you anything you don't already know when I recommend to all that if you want to know the real deal, you're not going to make an educated decision by reading this thread. Just sign up for the FREE WPD service, go through the training, and see for yourself what Marty is REALLY teaching. You have nothing to lose by doing this. You have more to lose by listening to DomainLocos and basing your opinion only on his nonsensical rantings. As you know, in this and all cases, you're never going to have a truly educated opinion without ALL the facts. So GO GET THEM. Kindly, Lee Collins
ahhh Mr. Lee Colins, I must say you are quite the talker. To be honest I don't feel like wasting my time in writing a lengthy response but I feel compelled to say that you have no idea what my reason is for posting the things I did. You can only assume I care if they take away any possible clients. Do you honestly and truly believe I would be saying the things I said because IM AFRAID? The only reason I started bashing these SPLOGGERS is to make sure the newbies knew there was a negative side to their "perfect" system of making easy money by committing plagiarism. You obviously came on this board to advertise your "blog school" to the readers pretending to be a good samaritan. The "obvious advertising" is... well, obvious. Your link showed a cheap press release stating that all fantastico installs can be easily compromised. The next 90% of the PR talked about how great the "blog school is" and how much we should go visit it. By cheap, I meant to say USELESS product. Sorry for the miscommunication. If you want to spam the net and copy every RSS feed to make a dollar a day, GO AHEAD. Your domain will get de-indexed eventually. You have got to be blind to ignore the fact that WPD is using FREE TOOLS and charging them for it. Their service is easily duplicated with five minutes of reading. Their promises are absurd and not to mention they are exploiting a registered trademark. My own blogging service? What blogging service is that? It's called developing a domain name you fool. Creating a system to generate income and sell the domain name for it's generic value and the income it generates. All your arguments are dismissible the second we see the service you are praising. It does not change the fact that all they do is copy content and try to make a quick buck from their users. Yes, they offer their service for free, it's called a freemium business model and it's not new. Also, are those users granted rights to the blog if they decide to leave? Or are they simply rendering free services to attract users who will HAVE to stay there in order to keep their blogs. MY FINALY POINT: WordpressDirect.com is a spamming service that copies content from all over the internet and uses FREE themes and FREE plugins created by OTHER authors and NOT by WPD. If you want to create a blog that will be seen as SPAM in the long term PLEASE go to WordpressDirect.com and sign up. If you want to create a real blog with unique content then feel free to do a google search on how to install wordpress on your hosting or feel free to shoot me a PM. WordpressDirect.com uses a simple RSS aggregator that COPIES the posts of other people into your own blog the instant it is published. Wether the content is syndicated or not, it is impossible to know since you can add all types of RSS feeds and do the same thing. If you feel like this is unfair or unethical then you are thinking clearly, if you see this as another way to make three dollars a day on adsense then please go join the sploggers over at wordpressdirect.com. I, as a wordpress user (and lover) do NOT support sploggers. Especially when they charge a fee to newbies to do so! That's it. If you feel like arguing about these simple points the go ahead. I think it's obvious those three people opposing my commentary are profiting from Wordpress direct and are biased towards it. Have a great day!
DomainLoco wrote; Actually, I continue to correct you since you keep making false statements about WPD. It is true that we use free themes and plugins (although we have written several of them too). However, the rest is simply not true. We do not use any such RSS aggregator. DomainLoco has no idea what we do. So I'll tell you (again). The content software included with the paid accounts does NOT scrape content. It only takes content from sites where people create content for with the INTENT of syndication, such as YouTube and eZine directories. Unless you specifically (as an author) post your content on one of these services, it cannot end up being found by our software. Again, just to be clear, we strongly DISCOURAGE the use of Adsense ads on WPD sites. Got it? Enjoy. P.S. If it is OK to find a YouTube video yourself and embed it in your blog, is it not OK to have a piece of software to make it easier? Hopefully you see my point.
Here is my last post on this useless discussion. A proof that there are other bloggers who do not like your service and to show you that my attitude towards your services is non-biased. A post on Mashable read the comments from top bloggers. An full review on Blog Herald Calling it a "spam engine". Another short rant on Agent Genius Another rant on jeffro2pt0 Another rant on studionashvegas A short discussion on derrickkwa And there are countless more to be found so don't tell me my opinion is biased because I enjoy helping newbies start on the right track towards a successful blog. Stop being lazy and get to work... CASE CLOSED. PLEASE CLOSE THREAD.
Is it really obvious? How can it be for my own benefit when the "blog school" isn't mine. It's Michael's. You are helping to make my point that you are obviously a completely self-indulged moron who makes sweeping assumptions instead of bothering with ANY of the facts. You're doing it with WPD. And you're doing it with your responses to me. I take a different approach. I believe people should have ALL the facts, and not just your (or my) version of them. So I presented a link to some valuable information they should do research on and come to their own conclusions. You dismissing it because it isn't pretty and shiny is ridiculous, and is a testimony to YOUR obvious character flaws more so than mine. Is this how you live the rest of your life or just when you're posting in forums (under the veil of "being helpful")? I truly feel sorry for you, because your life must be a real mess if this is how you behave all the time. Don't you know that throwing someone else under the bus just to lift yourself up can have no good end result? Sure I'm new here as a contributor, I'll give you that, but I've been watching this board for a while. And I just can't bear to sit idly by while someone spreads vicious lies, assumptions and innuendo veiling it as "truth" just to promote their own low-grade services. (And since when is being a new contributor an indicator of any less value?) Once again... anyone reading this thread, I encourage you to do your own Due Diligence, and I'd go so far as to say I'd be very wary of this DomainLOCO person because the elevator obviously isn't going all the way to the top floor. I've contributed my part, hopefully it has been helpful and hopefully has encouraged people to GET THE FACTS before making any final decisions about WordPress Direct or my reason for being here. Lastly, I am NOT Michael Savoie. I have nothing to gain from giving you a non-affiliate link to Michael's post about the WP Security risks, except that I gain the knowledge of having shared valuable information with you that could help you NOT have your WP Blog hacked. Kindly, Lee Collins
The facts are present Mr. Collins. I have not said anything that is not true, nor have I attacked them personally (unlike you and mrozmanith have attacked my character for posting the bare truth). I'll let the people decide to do the right thing and pass up the opportunity to spam or go with what everyone is doing to make a dollar a day splogging. This is seriously my last post, if you have anything else to say to me feel free to PM me. Dan
Hi Marty, I just want to let you know that I love your service. Sure I can install my own wordpress blogs on my own sites but your service has become invaluable to me. I can get a new site up and running and ready to test out some keywords in minutes. Granted I'm not going to create an ongoing business with each and everyone but when I hit a good one I go with it. It is so helpful to have access to all my blogs from one control panel and it's great to have a logical procedure to follow when making new sites. Having the themes all ready to pick from is very helpful too. Now I must mention the customer support. I've had some of the dumbest problems and I always get a pleasant, quick and helpful response. And did I mention that this was all for my free sites! Some people just don't appreciate a gift when they see it. I just couldn't sit here and let somebody bad mouth your service. If people aren't successful enough at marketing to pay for the monthly fee well then they should do a little more work on the three free sites you offer, for life I might add. Oh well, I could go on but some people are just so jaded they have to criticize anyone whether they know the facts or not. Like you mentioned if people want to create SPLOGs they will not be around for long anyway. Your service provides a simple way to test markets and keep everything organized. How people use it is up to them. If someone wants a long term business using blogs and wants an extremely helpful tool with wonderful customer support then I would recommend Wordpress Direct to anyone. Now as far as the 30 day challenge goes. I have learned more from the 30DC for FREE, (nada, zilch, zero dollars) than thousands of dollars I spent on other courses, ebooks and seminars. Next these guys are going to say Market Samurai sucks, NOT! Really, they don't know what they are talking about. Love Ya, Karen
