Hello, I am new to the forum so bare with me. I am setting up a new football blog with a mate of mine and when it's set up I would like to hit the 60k unique vistors a month. My footie blog, with a smaller target audience, gets around 10k UV a month but that just relies on newsnow. Can someone point me towards any tips, links to get more UV's etc. Thanks
A new course was just released called Become a Blogger. Teaches about traffic, niche marketing, SEO etc. It's not expensive and might help with a new-ish blogger. There's free stuff on the website, too. Good luck!
I like FREE blogs of people who have actually been successful at blogging not an ebook of someone who puts basics down and tries to sell it as new tips and techniques to make you rich in a month. Blogging of course as you know is a long term venture to make great money and it takes a lot of hard work and consistency. You should check out ProBlogger and Shoemoney for many tips on how to run great blogs, then of course try to find many blogs in your niche and see what is working for them and how they are doing it.
I've read both version of "Blogging To The Bank" and you can learn a lot. The best info I've gotten overall comes from Amy at The Niche Blogger and Kim at buzzblogger. You're in the game, good luck.
Just post good quality content and you'll get the links naturally. That's the best way to do it. Focus on just posting content for the first month, then build a few backlinks and post on forums. Then the traffic will slowly come in and you'll develop backlinks naturally.
Write unique content and build inbound links from related high-quality websites. Give some attention to social media as well... create profiles for your site at Twitter, Stumbleupon, Facebook, MySpace... then start adding friends and adding value to your profile... this has the potential to bring you lots of traffic.
Exactly. The most important part about a site is content. You can continuously promote you site, but with inadequate content you will never receive any returning visits.
It consider good achievement coz you already get 10k unique for your new blog. In order to get more unique visitor,i urge you to submit your content to article directory. Other than that,you can use adword to promote your football blog
How about posting videos to popular videos sites and get links back to your site? Interesting videos like Funniest Goal, or Super goal etc..
