It looks good, but honestly, WTF kind of drugs are they doing? Having to update every week is ridiculous, and having to wait for plugins to be compatible is twice as ridiculous. Now they're releasing an entirely new build??

I agree. I'm a "wp tester", have been for few years and I always run "trunk" builds on my live blogs and demo blogs. I mentioned this on their list already, and of course haven't received a good solid reason of "WHY", since I posted the email to the list.

They barely have ALL the plugins compatible for previous versions of WordPress, not to mention the themes and other things, then to go out making MORE changes to the core code with a completely new build (version) is ridiculous. I know it's about "what the users and community wants", but come on! Get your stuff on one set pathway and stick to it and get that up to speed first, before going out making more changes and such.

Having to have Plugin and Theme Compatible lists on the codex for all their latest handful of releases is a shame too. Now there's going to be yet another compatible list made up just for the 2.7 release... Pfft please...it's easier on everyone to just have ONE solid core code and keep that updated when necessary. But, everyone likes it difficult so... *shrug* *sigh*

The new layout rocks, but the themes aren't compatible too. Now developers have to change some codes to them also.
