lol. With Christmas coming, everyone is selling. I'm too will focus more on my other project which is more profitable. Just ought to tell you guys that I'm going vacationing to Bali, Indonesia. Btw, just checked my adsense and saw this. Is it normal? I do sometimes get high ecpm but 3 hundreds? Oh, not to forget. PROXYWHEREABOUTS is having price cut on all listing package. Do look at the advertising page for more info.
If you have a google/yahoo group and will post my proxy list to it I can give you 1month tier 3 listing if your group is between 200-1000 members 1month tier 2 listing if your group is between 1000-5000 members 1month tier 1 listing if your group is over 5000 members i started my proxy listing about 1 week back and have already sent out over 1200 hits getting about 150-200 visitors a day Its Also giving out about 20-30 hits a day to free listings all those interested may submit it at www.unblocking.biz
Template looks good mate! And euhm.. some people are selling their proxies for cheap prices too? As I see they are selling for quite high prices.. but as earnings will go down soon I don't wanna spend that much money... So PM me for CHEAP deals (less than 50$) for a good proxy Greetz
Everybody is selling ... seems like the proxy business isn't so profitable anymore. I would like to hear a comparison between the last year and this year ...
Thanks Aquarezz. It's not that proxy niche isn't profitable but involving in this niche require you to fully alert the time when profit is low or near zero. Christmas is near so most all schoolkids will be at home. Some of them will still use proxies as their parent might blocked access to certain sites but the ratio is lower than school season. With all proxy owners (mostly newly involve in proxies) start selling their proxies, it is because they don't think the proxies will earn them much in holiday season and also want to make quick bucks. This will be good though, less competitor.
Yep, I hope thousands of more proxy owners will quit the business.. gives more free space for the diehards Greetz
Just upgraded my server (completely the wrong time but meh) to these specs: 2GB Ram 4GHZ Dedicated CPU Speed 500GB BW Is this powerful enough for CGIProxy, do you guys think?
Hey urbt, how much for that deal? I don't know about CGI, I would ask your host if you are on a VPS. I am not so concerned about the loss of earnings over Christmas, as it appears from some calenders I have seen that it is only about two weeks off. What I am concerned about is whether users come back to your proxy? Do you find that traffic returns to normal after christmas (with no promotion) or does it die in the ass?
It's too hard to maintain a lot of good proxies at once. I'm going to manage only 1 / 2 premium proxies and 1 proxy toplis (bbjb.info).
For the longest time I have been using a standard Robots.txt file "User-agent: * Disallow: /browse.php. Today I received this notice from Google: "While reviewing your ad implementation, we noticed that your robots.txt file is currently preventing our AdSense crawler from reaching a significant number of pages with ads in your account. In order to serve targeted, paid ads to your sites, our crawler needs to visit your sites’ pages to determine their content. Please update your robots.txt file to allow the AdSense crawler to access all pages showing Google ads. You can allow the AdSense crawler access to your sites by adding the following lines to your robots.txt file: User-agent: Mediapartners-Google* Disallow: Thanks for helping enable us to serve the most relevant ads to your sites. Please note that in the future, if we can't crawl some of your pages, we may disable ad serving to those pages. For more information, please visit: https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=37091 We appreciate your understanding ect...." So is this a normal communication from Google and do I need to change my robot.txt file in any way??? From what I can see is that they are not able to crawl the Browse.php . I do not want to the on the Big G's Bad List,
Hey guys, just wondering whether anyone has any premium proxies for sale - like ProxyTiger.com Thanks!
lol that is a good question. It probably depends alot on if they remember your proxy after they get back. So unless you got a great proxy with cool domain, its highly likely they'll forget and be scratching there head when they get back on January and have to find a new one.
I think they talk about the index page. They shouldn't be interested to crawl browse.php as long you don't have adsense ads on the proxified pages.
