1 domain = 1 webhost?

I want to start a series of blogs. I am going to buy .com domain names for each one (for seo purposes). Do I need to secure webspace for each domain name? Or are there services that will host them all for me for one fee? I dont need much webspace and obviously want to pay as little as possible!

    Thanks for any help guys!

No, there are some hosting company that offers hosting package with "add on domain" feature.
You can use more than 1 domain (how many? it depends to your hosting company) on a single hosting account.

Do not worry, each domain's files can be separated under each directory :)

A shared hosting account with Add-on domains is your best bet (that's what I do). You could also buy a reseller account and have a separate cPanel for each domain.

You can host multiple domain names under one shared hosting using "Addon domain" features available in cpanel.

    NOTE:
    1) Not all host provide addon domain name features. So, ask them before buying hosting.
    2) Your shared hosting can also have limitations, like very low CPU/ Memory usage allowed, limited database number etc.

    Suggestion:
Buy a reseller hosting, or if you have some budget, you can go for VPS.

One hosting is enough , Now allmost are offering unlimited add-on domains. Check on godaddy , hostmonster, hostgator. Host primary host then u canmake any no of domain but it all will share the disk space an bandwidth

Just go for a hosting plan that offers add-on domains. Most hosting companies offer them.

You are right. But most of them have this number limited and in this case I believe that reseller account would be the best option

Im on Dreamhost and there is no limit, right now have around 50 sites hosted on their basic plan.

By adding sites over time they also appear on different IPs which is good for SEO on a network of interlinked blogs.

A VPS for blogs is definitely overkill.

It's incredible how things have changed with hosting. It's beautiful have multiple domains on one account. I hope this never ends.

I'm a newb perhaps, but can you explain that to me a bit? Linking my sites to each other I always thought of being somewhat futile. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm not sure. You mention different IPs. Any further explanation greatly appreciated.

I think almost all webhosts have packages with addon domains some with unlimited. Although there could be some downfalls when it comes to google and depending on what your doing and them all being in the same class c ip range

Well you don't want to over-do it, linking all your sites together would be bad but strategically linking smaller sites to the main site can give it a boost. If all the sites were on the same IP it might look suspicious so having different IPs helps.

I am running 15+ sites from one accont on hostmonster.com

They have awesome support and I have had very little trouble.

I got hacked once, but that was my fault... thats what you get when you leave the door open. lol

Fantastic. Something that I knew nothing about. Seems after being here for a few days, I'm realizing there is a heck of a lot I don't know!! Thanks for the tip, and I'm doing some googling on that type of host. To me, that's money. Well, perhaps it's money. Erm, let's say I think that's money.
