RSS Directories

    Can anyone with any experience in blogging and utilizing RSS tell me if RSS directories help expand readership/traffic?

    I'm launching a new blog and would like input from other bloggers about the effectiveness of RSS directories. Thanks

    Based on my own experience, rss directories can't help.... I didn't get a single backlink though it...

    I had 4,500 rss readers on my less than a year blog before I sold it last september... The reason for high readership actually is the content...

    RSS feeds are overrated. Unless you are running a news site or something, there's not much point or much chance of people subscribing. Theres enough junk comming through on email, websites, post etc without adding another chanel.
