I have just finished a series on Popshops and how to integrate into Wordpress and Build a Niche Store. It starts with the basics of popshops and goes through how to add it to your site, including via php.

Enjoy using Popshops with Wordpress and BANS

Thanks, I just took it out my signature. If there are any integration subjects that someone wants to see, let me know.

Doesn't popshops already integrate with WP?

Anyone had success with popshops? Which is better popshops or bans?

Yes, Popshops integrates with WP, but I show you step by step how to do it. I also show you how to place it certain areas of your WP, and so it will show on some pages but not all.

As far as BANs and popshops, comparing the two is the proverbial apples and oranges comparison. Go to the first link in my sig and read on BANS and then read the popshops tutorial series.

If you want the nutshell, BANS is a tool to build a website (a store format) whereas Popshops is a tool to add product links from across affiliate networks.

Almost sounds like you need both BANS and popshop

That is not necessary, but it certainly gives you the most flexibility IMO. I have really just started using phpBay, mostly used BANS. However, I like the flexibility that combining the 2 gives you.

When comparing popshops and bans I would rather go with bans just because of ease of use. There are other scripts out there that, in my opinion, blow bans, popshops and any other related script out of the water. Take this one for example. The scripts does what bans does but at a scientific level. It pulls feeds from youtube and twitter and thus making your site a search engine favourite.
