Yeah nothing said here is new but its good to go over these traffic generating methods because new members and people searching for the latest traffic generation methods can utilize this information here.

I do quite a few things to generate traffic online and I will mention some of them below but do remember that your ultimate traffic source should be coming from the search engines because that is where people go to find websites with the information they are looking for.

Essentially you need to focus on getting your traffic but getting the traffic isnt the only thing you need to know how you are going to convert that traffic into money.. So you need to spend some time monetizing your site so that you can be building a residual income through your website and blog posts.

My fav is:
Hubpages, Squidoo, Feedagg, Digg and stumbleupon. Hundreds of visitors at minimum will come to your site if you use it right.

all good suggestions, let me add yahoo answers to the mix, it's been very effective in driving traffic and gaining links to many of my sites.

 

I like Social Bookmarking sites, but for the most part, that traffic doesn't return much.

Build an email list. You can always send your list to your blog or websites. There are FEE TRAFFIC.

 

that way may be useful
