Has anyone heard that LinkWorth is no longer accepting gambling ads from buyers and is cancelling all existing ones on its publisher's partner sites?

Does Text Link Ads allow gambling ads?

    TIA

TLA does allow gambling ad's and as far as I'm aware linkworth still does as well, where did you hear they were cancelling the gambling ads?

Below is a copy of an email sent to an advertiser/buyer.

    Dear ,

As of December 1st, 2008, LinkWorth will no longer be accepting any new
advertisers related to the gambling and/or gaming industry. If you have
existing ads related to this industry, they will be canceled at the end
of November and no longer be eligible for renewal.

We are deeply saddened by having to make this announcement to our
existing advertisers. Our gambling advertisers have been among some of
our best and some of our most loyal. We only hope that you understand
this was a tough business decision, but one that we had to make with our
    company's future in mind.

Please note that we are not closing any accounts, we are only taking
advertisements offline that are related to the gambling and/or gaming
industry. If you are promoting other verticals, this change will not
affect these advertisements in any way.

During our planning of this change, we have been in talks with another
company that can help transition your linking campaigns from our system
into theirs. We understand the work involved in each campaign and we
wanted to make sure a viable option was available, one that we could
trust to help. The good people over at Text-Link-Ads.com (TLA), along
with their UK partner, would like to help make the transition a smooth
one. They have assigned an account specialist who will be working with
you individually to devise a winning transition strategy. Your direct
contact with them is Brock Boser, .

If you would like TLA to help you build an account with them, we would
be happy to provide them all of your campaign details so they can
properly set everything up for you. Please respond with a confirmation
to release your info and we will do so.

Again, we apologize for the obvious inconveniences that this may cause.

    Kind Regards,
    Ron Wicker, President

well i didn't know anything about it until i read this thread here on DP, i spent the last 6 weeks building up a lot of gambling links and now there all gone , and I'm still waiting for payment for publishing Novembers links.

When are they likely to pay that? is it not usually the first of the month? Yesterday...
